Safe
Safety First
Your privacy and safety come first. That’s why we built our proprietary AI assistant, OSWALT™, from the ground up.
OSWALT™ was designed for one purpose: delivering accurate answers sourced exclusively from a closed library of expert-approved materials, not the open internet.
Unlike chatbots or generative AI tools, OSWALT™ never tracks, stores, or shares your searches or personal information—and it never generates content or engages in open-ended dialogue either. Instead, it operates as a secure, sophisticated search tool, providing only information vetted and approved by StrongAfter’s experts.
Vetted Resources
Everything you’ll find on this website is reviewed by experts who’ve spent decades supporting men impacted by unwanted or abusive sexual experiences. Our review team includes therapists and other professionals—many with lived experience—who ensure our content is safe, relevant, and trauma-informed.
What does “trauma-informed” mean?
It means recognizing the impacts of trauma and supporting your healing in ways that prioritize safety, trust, choice, and empowerment. Trauma-informed care means moving from “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”—a change that centers understanding, empathy, and the context of someone’s experiences.
Healing looks different for everyone. Take what helps, leave what doesn’t, and know that we’re always expanding our offerings.

Seen
You’re Not Alone
Research shows that at least one in six men have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences, and the real number is likely higher. This is because many men don’t talk about what happened, and non-contact experiences (which can also be harmful) often go unreported.

These experiences can affect your health, relationships, and daily life, sometimes in ways that aren’t immediately visible or easy to recognize. If any of this hits home, know that many others have faced similar challenges and found their path forward. We’re here to help you find yours.

A Note on Language
Words matter. We do our best to use language that’s accurate, respectful, and inclusive while recognizing that everyone describes their experiences in their own way.
You will see terms like sexual abuse, sexual assault, or unwanted or abusive sexual experiences. One of these might fit for you, or none of them might, and that’s okay. You get to choose how to talk about what happened, in whatever words feel right for you.
You will also see the word survivor. Some find it empowering; others don’t connect with it. No single word can capture all of who you are, and we’re not here to define or label you.
And because our resources are designed for male-identifying people and those who care about them, you’ll see words like men, man, guy, and male. While we recognize that gender identity impacts experiences of abuse and healing, anyone who finds support here is welcome. We stand with all survivors and honor the experiences of women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, who are disproportionately impacted by harm.
